To simplify the process of setting up a limited company in the UK here are some notes and document templates that may help you.

To incorporate a limited company in the UK you have to submit four documents.

• Form 10 a four page PDF form from companies house.
• Form 12 a one page PDF form from companies house.
• Articles_of_Association_Template.doc an eight page word document to be a template for the articles of association.
• Memorandum_of_Association_Template.doc an one page word document to be a template for the Memorandum of association.
• Incorporation_Cover_Letter_Template.doc a simple cover letter for use when sending the above documents to companies house.

After submitting these documents to companies house, you should receive a certificate of incorporation within five working days.
